Unique quality handmade Irish furniture...

The “Old Irish Chair” (or “Tuam Chair”) is unique in design to the west of Ireland.
The National Museum of Ireland has several examples on display and a Dowd Furniture carver is on display in the Collins Barracks Museum in Dublin. We have a range of other designs also available. All are made using mortice and tenon joints to secure long life.
